Price is for 2 person team for 18 holes, includes range balls, and entry into the park
Get ready for the the 1717 Club's first event at Tanglewood Park at their beautiful Reynolds Course. The tournament will follow traditional scramble format with teams of 2 competing. Tickets are sold per team for $250 ($125 per player). If you cannot find a team but still wish to play, email will@1717golfclub.com or dm us on socials and we will do our best to help match you with a team. As a new feature live scoring via the 18 birdies app will take place during the tournament. Tournament participants are required to use live scoring and keep it updated after each hole. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. 2 man teams will randomly be paired with another 2 man team to keep each other's score and keep competition fair.
Tee Times: Tee times will start at 10:00 AM and run until early afternoon. When signing up please indicate whether you prefer an early or later tee time. This preference is not guaranteed. Groups who sign up first will be given first priority.

The 1717 Club LLC Scramble Golf Tournament Terms and Conditions
1. Tournament Format and Rules
- The tournament is a 2-person team scramble format.
- Traditional scramble rules will be followed:
- Each player on a team tees off.
- The team chooses the best tee shot.
- All players take their second shots from the spot of the best tee shot.
- The team chooses the best second shot.
- This continues until the ball is in the hole.
- The team records their score for the hole.
- Ball is lift clean and place 1 club length no closer to the hole.
- All teams must use the 18 bridies app to input scores during the rounds. Scores for each holes must be put in within 15 minutes of finishing that hole.
- USGA rules for scoring and play apply unless otherwise noted by tournament officials.
- Play will be from the standard tees, 55+ can play from senior tees, and women can play from the red tees.
- Tiebreakers: Tiebreakers will be determined based on best head to head score starting on 18 then going backwards to 17, 16, etc. until a winner is determined.
2. Prizes and Payouts
- 1st Place: $800
- 2nd: $600

3rd: $400
- 4th: $250
- Contest Hole on 6: $15 for anyone who hits their drive 270 yards+ and finishes in the fairway. For Women/Senior tees anyone who hits it 230 yards+ and finishes in the fairway will win. Drive must be in fairway for it to count. This is an individual competition not a team competition. Both, none, or one player on the team can win. Money is awarded to the individual.
- Contest hole on 8: $15 for anyone who's tee shot comes to rest on the green. This is an individual competition not a team competition. Both, none, or one player on the team can win. Money is awarded to the individual.
- Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th will be given after all rounds have been completed. Contest hole prizes will be given on the specific contest holes.
- Winning teams not present will be contacted via phone or text following the event.
- Teams have 2 weeks to respond to the notification of their winnings. If no response is received within this timeframe, the winnings will be vacated.
- For physical prizes other than cash, winners will be contacted within 3 days following the event.
- Physical prizes will be shipped to the winners’ provided address within 2 weeks from the contact date.
3. Entry Fees and Registration
- The entry fee is $250 per team, which includes:
- Entry to the tournament.
- Golf cart rental for the duration of the tournament and green fees.
- Range balls
- Entry into Tanglewood Park
4. Attendance and Punctuality
- Teams must be present and ready to play at their designated tee time.
- Failure to be on time will result in removal from the tournament without a refund unless reasonable accommodation can be made by tournament officials.
5. Conduct and Sportsmanship
- Golfers are expected to maintain respectful and orderly conduct throughout the event.
- Any behavior resulting in property damage or posing danger to others or course property will not be tolerated.
- Violators will be required to leave the event without a refund and will be ineligible for tournament winnings and prizes.
- Golfers are responsible for any damage to Tanglewood Park or other tournament property including but not limited to golf carts.
6. Scoring and Integrity
- All team scores must be accurate and submitted to 18 birdies during the round.
- Any falsification or dishonesty in scoring will result in disqualification and forfeiture of any prizes or winnings.
- A government issued ID may be required to prove a golfer's age for tee boxes. If ID is not provided it may result in disqualification or movement to a different age group depending on tournament officials discretion.
7. Weather Policy and Event Changes
- In the event of severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the tournament will be rescheduled to a new date.
- Teams will be automatically registered for the rescheduled date.
- If a team is unable to participate on the new date, they may contact the 1717 Club LLC at will@1717golfclub.com to receive a full refund.
- If the event is canceled and not rescheduled, full refunds will be provided.
8. Refund Policy
- Full refunds will be given if a team decides to cancel at least 7 days before the event.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
9. Media Release
- By participating in the 1717 Club LLC Scramble Golf Tournament, all players consent to the photography and videography of the event.
- Photos and videos taken during the tournament may be used in promotional materials, including but not limited to social media, websites, and marketing content for the 1717 Club LLC.
- Participants waive any rights to review, approve, or receive compensation for the use of these images or recordings.
10. Liability and Disclaimer
- Participants enter the tournament at their own risk.
- The 1717 Club LLC and associated event organizers are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the event.
- By participating, all players agree to release the 1717 Club LLC, its staff, sponsors, and venue from any liability related to the event.
11. Amendments and Updates
- The 1717 Club LLC reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
- Any changes will be communicated to participants promptly.
12. Acceptance of Terms
- By registering for the 1717 Club LLC Scramble Golf Tournament, all participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
